I downloaded the MIUI V4 theme from the themes directory. And just edited the mtz.
It's not actually MIUI V4. There's no stable version for my phone yet.

You mean the dark grey status bar on the lockscreen?
That's the status_bar.png image that's part of the lockscreen theme, not the actual status bar theme.
