So as you all know, I've been a Fandroid for the past two years. It was my first smartphone and I've loved using it. With its endless amount of customization and ability to change into whatever you want it to. Over the past month, I've been using Launcher 7 and several other Windows Phone 7 apps, to try and get the experience of a WP. Since the Lumia 920 was announced, I wanted it more than any other phone that was released. I've always admired Windows Phone 7. It's beautiful, simplistic, minimal, fast and fluid. I was always afraid to switch because of the Marketplace. Not nearly as many apps as iOS and Android.
I'm ready to make the switch though. I'm getting the Lumia 920 when it comes out and I can't wait! I'm ready for a fully integrated user experience and I think it will suit me better than Android. I'm still going to use my current phone on WiFi though, for the apps that WP doesn't have. (Instagram, Flipboard and some games.) So I won't be completely leaving Android, I just won't be using it as my daily driver.
So yeah. I'm moving on and I'm excited about it and I think it'll be the best one for me. :eager: (At least I'm not switching to the dark side! [coughioscough]!)

I am now on ICS, which I'm finding to be a loooot faster than MIUI.
I ran  MIUI V4 for a night and I just wasn't feeling it. There weren't as many things I liked about it, like I did with my GB version.
In order to go to MIUI V4 (At least, for my phone), you had to flash an early build ICS rom. I did that and I liked it a lot. So I looked into it more and I upgraded to the latest build of ICS and I'm in love. It's incredibly fast, smooth and just all around wonderful to use. It doesn't have all the customization that MIUI has, but it's great.
I mean, customizing the lockscreen was super easy. You can have 5 shortcuts in the lock ring and all you have to do is select the application and apply a custom icon if you want and bam. It's done. Live wallpapers on the LS is fun too. Not to mention, direct access to the status bar/notification center.
I only have my phone for a few more months, before switching to AT&T (GSIII). Right now there's already early development of Jelly Bean for the GSIII and even when I switch, I doubt I'll go back to MIUI.
So yeah, that's my story.

Now I know how it feels to be proud of your work that you share with the community and then found out that they post your work somewhere else and claim it as theirs.
I mean, hey it's the internet. We pirate everything. We share everything and it's hard to trace who the original owner of stuff is.
This guy even commented on my original post of a lockscreen, but then posted a screenshot, linking the lockscreen to a chinese MIUI site where someone said it was theirs. Really?
Oh well. I'm still happy to see that so many people liked something I made, whether they credit me or not.

I remember not even knowing how to unpack an mtz to edit the date or something little like that.
I used to get all the good themers on XDA to do it for me.
It wasn't even that long ago, actually.
Now, I can proudly say that I make and edit whatever I want. (To the ability that I can)
I've still got a lot to learn, but it's fun learning along the way.

I give credit to everyone that I possibly can. If I can't find the original owner, then I'll at least SAY the credits are for them. Just in case they see it.

Thank you to those that like my work and actually credit me for the work.
I guess anyone using my stuff is better than no one? Haha.
I'm using this as a directory for all the lockscreens and stuff I mod, linking to XDA, to clear up my signature on there.
